Full disclosure, I was a beta-reader for the second novel in this series and MY NAME IS IN THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS OF THIS BOOK and I am still so humbled and amazed about this fact that it has taken me nearly five months to be able to recover from the shock and even function somewhere close to properly in regards to writing a review for this book…..

I LOVE THIS SERIES. It makes me so incredibly sad that more people have not seen the beauty of it. I WANT EVERYONE TO READ IT .
Seriously. If you pick up ONE indie book this year, make it the first book in this trilogy. You won’t be sorry. And if you are, then you clearly read it wrong.
But anyway.
This book. *happy sighs*
I put off reading it for a long time, because I was terrified of what was going to happen. And you know what, I was right to be terrified. There is so much happening in this installment! So many threads to tie off. All the balls in the air. HOW COULD IT POSSIBLY WORK?
I needn’t have worried. Ms. Wibberley and the glory that is RIECE made this an incredible adventure that was filled with angst, heartbreak, mystery and adventure. Yes, Clio is an idiot at some points, again. But even with her being idiotic, I positively FLEW threw these pages.
I saw many things coming, but I did not care! I LOVED every single second of reading this book and I wish I could go back in time to when I had not read it, so I could read it for the first time all over again.
Emily Wibberley. I bow down to thee. What a finale. I can’t wait to see what you do next.
